Bitti Tutto Cloth Diaper Review and *GIVEAWAY*

**CLOSED!  Congrats to Leslie G. for liking Itti Bitti on Facebook!  Your diaper will be on its way to you shortly!**

As a family, we have been using cloth diapers for over two years now.  I must say it is a completely different ball game with two kids instead of one (especially when traveling) but we absolutely think it is worth it.  Great for the environment, chemical-free and saves us a bundle of money (around $2000 a year with two kids...and that is a modest estimate.)

Most of our stash is full of BumGenius All-In-Ones but lately we have been able to try out a few other brands.  I was one of the lucky ones chosen to be able to review Itti Bitti's brand new Bitti Tutto in the carnival print (limited edition.)  I have to honestly say this is my new favorite diaper, hands-down.  J agrees (and P certainly would if he had the words to express it!)

The diapers are a minkee on the outside and SUPER soft (and waterproof of course!)  It is what I noticed right away when I opened the package.  I have yet to find any other diaper like that.

They also have three different inserts to use at different sizes and for boys or girls.  Quite honestly, I was thoroughly confused at first, but once I (quickly) figured it out, I love the fact that there are so many options!  And the snaps are color-coded to make the process a bit easier.  Itti Bitti has responded to a desire for an explanation video and have come out with quite a few.

Here is one of them that I think is especially helpful:

The different soaker options also leaves room for a slimmer diaper during the day and a bulky full-of-padding diaper for night.  AND we easily switched between both the boys (I refuse to buy or use any cloth diapers that are not one-size-fits-all.)  For a Mama of boys (that apparently generally don't potty train super early) it is great to know this will fit until 44 pounds (and uh, hopefully we are done with diapers for J before he gets to that point!)

It is obvious Itti Bitti has put a lot of thought into the diaper, including a "poo fence" to avoid blow-outs. So far, so good.  I am all about not having to do loads of poo-filled laundry!

I also have to note that right now Itti Bitti is having a "Fall in Love with Itti Bitti" event through their retailers you won't want to miss (note that it ends at the end of the month!)  Also check out their facebook page for an opportunity to win until the end of October.

Finally, the really great news is that one of you will win a bitti tutto (gender-appropriate color)!  Use the rafflecopter entry thingy at the end of this post to win.  As always, feel free to contact me at mountainmamatales@gmail.com if you have any questions!  I will email and announce the winner on the blog when the contest is over.  Good luck!

The company did provide me a diaper for review free of charge, but the opinions in this review are completely and honestly my own!

  1. I raised my daughter with cloth diapers while traveling, even spent a month in a tent in Montana! Once a week, we would get a hotel room so we could shower and wash diapers, and kept the dirty diapers in our rocket box on top of the truck. She was completely out of diapers by 15 months, and a lot of that had to do with the fact they "feel" when they go in cloth, vs disposables. Keep up the good work!
