*GIVEAWAY* Gear OFF the trail....

I am a big proponent in gear that performs (and really have no interest in products that don't do their job and serve a function.)  My "fashion" sense revolves around performance clothing and "performance accessories" (bags, etc.)  Instead of having a million pairs of shoes or fancy purses like some women, I have a lot of coats, bags and boots that work for  me.  They handle dirt and abuse well.  That is just how I work because I want to continue getting outside!

I love Kavu purses and have used them for years and years.  I contacted them to see if they would be interested in sponsoring a giveaway (so I could share the love!) and they generously agreed and sent me two bags to give away + 1 for me to review.

This is the bag that I got to review.....It is the Adios Bag and is my new "diaper/kid" bag. A great waterproof bag inside, two pockets outside. I am not a "pink person" but the color is bright and fun. And Kavu bags last forever....(so this too will get dirty and be put through the test!)

    We always go for a walk when DD gets upset even if its just to the mailbox to check it. :)

    I got to go hiking with a new friend to see a waterfall and play in the river! Fall weather is the BEST!!

    The sun was out today, and though it was CHILLY, we bundled up and went for an hour long walk after breakfast.

    Huge believer in Moms not having lame diaper bags with sheep or ducks on it! It's even more important to look fabulous when you're representing such a dignified vocation!

    I too am a big believer in outside play every day, weather permitting. Being a native Minnesotan, my definition of weather permitting is pretty liberal! This being said, I have been slacking lately... I think the rapid passing of summer has me feeling a little blue... Sigh.

    I have the same kind of philosophy when it come to running... I don't have to go far, but I have to get out of the house and at least as far as the post office (600m from my house). I tell myself I can turn around at the post office, but I have to at least run that far. To date, I've never turned around.
